What this covers

Theory for a Group A combination vehicle.

The Class A curriculum pertains to combination vehicles (Group A) as defined in 49 CFR 383.91(a)(1). The theory assessment must be passed with an overall score of at least 80%.

Behind-the-wheel training is required but is in person, completed with a partner school, in a commercial motor vehicle for which a Class A CDL is required. BTW includes range and public road requirements.
